Whenever you look at property details the insulation  details often say pendng.  I've noticed that some properties on Camposol have had insulation added by owners and central heating installed.

How do you stay warm in the winter?   Does it get very cold?    Are bthe properties just a concrete shell?   Have any of you developed your houses and made them more insulated?

Thanks

Max

Most are not insulated...we have gas central heating but only use it a couple of winter months in the evening and early morning.....most days are warm in the winter but it does get chilly when the sun goes down!

Nearly all of the Camposol properties are just a concrete shell & as such are very poorly insulated.

I believe that the Monsora built properties have better insulation but I could be wrong.

There are a number of people on this forum that have insulated a 'concrete' shell on Camposol.

They will be along shortly with more information I am sure.

Thank you...very helpful.     Gas is quite cheap to buy in Spain.....well, that's what we find when we go caravaning over the winter.

I've also noticed huses have woodburners......I quite like that idea to take off the chill.

Thanks for this.

They are very beautiful houses......we particularly like the Neptuno Delux.     Concrete is the perfect material to withstand the extremes of temperature and they are low maintenance....just requiring regular painting I guess.

I suppost the way to insulate is attach 2x1 battons on ceilings and walls then insert 1inch kingspan and cover in plasterboard.

But it probably isn't worth the hassle?  Just burn a bit more fuel when it gets chilly.

Cheers  Max

Hi Max,

Roland is correct, we own a Monsora on C10 and the walls have cavity insulation.

We have a pellet burner that heats most of the house when required. Modern air con units can be used for heating too.

Dan.

Morning Max,

There’s loads of Monsora bank repossessions going cheap on D10.

Here’s the link: https://www.aplaceinthesun.com/property/details/ap2645965/2-bed-villa-for-sale-in-camposol-murcia-spain

Thanks Dan,

I noticed those the other day.  And they have a communal swimming pool.   They look very good value.
