Lo Pagan is lovely but since you indicated that you will be here a lot in winter do bear in mind that many places close for three months, Nov, Dec & Jan. Our son & partner spent Christmas there in ‘21 and despite having the use of a car found themselves very frustrated at the lack of pl...

...aces to eat out in. We’re not usually here in Dec so couldn’t have advised them. Otherwise though it really is a lovely location for a holiday home, lots of lovely walks, great area for cycling and good shops etc. There are plenty of sports facilities available too. Oh and not leaving out the lovely beach. Good luck with your search.

Hi Ann75

Apologies but for some reason your reply went to spam??  Anyways thank you for letting us know about the winter months.  We have discovered a few places are quiet out of season and it's something we will have to experience.  We do think a January walk on the costa calida may just beat a January walk in N. Yorkshire when it comes to the weather !

Thanks again   Mark

Well said Mark, that's the spirit and I do find I enjoy the quieter months a lot. I think if you know where to go you can always find a place to eat any time of the year. We're just finding places now due to COVID restrictions & Torrevieja is an all year around place and only a shirt drive away. I'm sure Yorkshire is lively too but, like Ireland, it doesn't have the weather. It's absolutely gorgeous here now but this has been the worst March, April weather in 73 years according to records.

If you need any other information about the area just give me a shout and I'll try to help if I can.
