Hello all , we are Steve and Wendy new to Lo pagen this year 2017. Have purchased a new apartment and love it . Learning new stuff every time we visit . We got our keys in may and noticed the area came alive during the summer months , we visit every month and have now seen Lo pagan very relaxed and a few places close 😟

Are there good eating places and bars to visit all year round . Also can anyone recommend places to visit fairly lively .

Many thanks for any help x

Hi Steve and Wendy

I am sure you will love it.  Where abouts have you bought?

There are loads of great restaurants in the area and I’m sure others will add to the list.  Some of our favourites are Venezuela (fish) Rubio 360 and Cabanna II (pizza).  There are many more including if you are happy to walk/go up to San Pedro.

Hi Tracey ,

We have bought at Azucenas lll Lo pagen , in between the new college and the youth football stadium .

I know the restaurants you mention haven't tried them yet , I'm there next Thursday so will try them out .

Many thanks

Mar De Sal is beautiful but quite expensive worth a visit for a treat. El Bara does free tapas which is lovely and you can sit and watch the world go bye. The is a new Indian called Red Rose which doesn’t look much but food is amazing. Also a really good Italian called el Rincon, you will need to book in summer months.  Also cafe le veche is great for breakfast, homemade pan au chocolate and croissants freshly squeezed orange juice all for €2.50

We especially like the typical spanish restaurants,Domingo el Portugues,la Panocha,el Gallego and of course el rubio 360,but the last one is a bit more expensive. And we re also in the same neighbourhood 😊
