We were unsure if we should share this information but better safe than sorry....

We had an attempted entry to our villa in Lo Pagan last Wednesday, thankfully both the alarm and the camera frightened the person(s) away and when the Police arrived there was nobody about.

The alarm went off 3 times over a 35 minute period, we think they waited for someone to respond to the initial alarm and only then jumped the gate, that`s when the alarm set off again but more importantly, the camera flashed and startled the entrant and he bid a hasty retreat....!

We share this only to remind people to be vigilant and keep doors and windows locked.

Thank you very much for this information, I have heard of outside tables and chairs going missing . Our villa should be ready march time. It is a worry when your not there. Are you group uno?

Hi Chris

Yes we have a villa built by Group Uno. We are on Calle Barlovento. We did not want to cause undue concern alarm but thought it better we share this information.

We have also heard of outside furniture & bikes being stolen, we have 2 locked sheds for our new bikes and cushions etc so perhaps they saw them and took the opportunity.

I would suggest a Security Alarm certainly from our recent experience....Not long back you could get a good deal from Securitas on the N332 Facebook page, if you haven`t sorted anything out yet at least take a look and get some cost indicators. They service and information available on their app is very good overall and provides relative peace of mind.

Hello, so sorry for you and the extended hassle factor.

There is a Costa Calida Crime Alert on Facebook so you may like to alert others.  Entirely up to you.

Hello.  No problem.  What brazen necks to be honest.

It does all leave a bad taste.  Hope all is good going forward.  Shall probably have an alarm fitted now ourselves.

Hi. We have just completed on our Group Uno property too- luckily with the alarm package. I'm now thinking it is probably better to store all the garden furniture inside of the house when we leave?

Also, any suggestions for good family- friendly (with young teenagers) bars/restaurants welcomed! Thank you,

Emma & John
