Looking for recommendations for internet provider please. Ours has been fine till the last few months when our IPTV buffers so much after 9 pm that we can’t watch it. Technician has been out with two new routers so far and still no improvement.

You might find that changing providers makes no difference at all.

They will all use the same cable to deliver the service to your property.

Much better to do some research & try & find out what the problem is.

Have you asked your neighbours if they have the same problem ??

I’ll speak to them. They’re about 75 metres away though, but I guess that’s not that far. They won’t have IPTV though, because they’re Spanish. Still, maybe they’re Internet is ropey at the same time of night.

Worth checking.

If they have a good speed when you're drops then the problem is with you.

I presume you are on cable ??

There’s a tiny dish on the roof so I don’t think so. Can you tell I’m pretty clueless? 😀

Okay. iPad and laptop work okay, it’s just the IPTV.

I’ve just done 3 ping tests...

8.66

13.53

12.07

Television completely unwatchable during the last reading.

After 20 minutes I got these readings:

5.17

4.71

1.25

3.56

3.27

3.04

I pay for 25 mbs.
your help very much appreciated in this!

Those speeds are good enough for IPTV.

Your laptop & iPad work fine.

So it looks very much like it is something to to with whoever you get your IPTV from.

Who is it ??

Have they got problems ??

Try a Google search to see if they have problems.
