I have just had an extremely bad experience with AXA es and would highly recommend  that any one out there looking to take out house insurance to give this Company a very wide berth. I have written to them on a number of occasions since the experience, both via email and their own web page, and am as yet to receive any response. their 'customer care' department, It would seem, is non existent. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have I just been unlucky?

I have had no direct experience with AXA in Spain, however, in general, I have found that many companies in Spain are very bad at responding to emails or web forms.

As an experienced customer service professional, this is very poor, as you shouldn't offer a customer contact channel unless you are going to properly resource & manage it.

Many companies tend to prefer telephone communication - which, of course, can be harder for us ex-pats if our spoken Spanish is not great - plus there is no written record of what has been discussed / agreed.

If you have a contact number when you call them try and ask for an English Speaking advisor a lot of these Company do know what your asking for.
