Sorry to say now as I wrote earlier unless you conform to paying in a pension over 600€ having 3 dd and use your card 2 x in a month they will charge you and it starts at 20€ but rising to 40€ per month we are with santandere but can not recommend as all banks are going to these requirements to stop us using accounts for solely bill paying

Did you transfer your old age pension from your UK bank or is the transfer done via DWP?

if the latter then I think Sabadell shouldn't charge as the money is transferred from Citibank's branch in Eire. As Eire still in EU they have an IBAN id beginning with IE. 

I'm waiting to see how Sabadell handle my state pension which is due Monday 18th Jan. If I'm charged then I will go elsewhere as I'm transferring over 700€ each month, have a substantial amount on deposit and have taken out contents insurance.  

We were told by Sabadell that as long as we have our Spanish and UK pensions paid in and also have either a loan or an insurance policy through the bank, we'll not be charged anything and as yet, we haven't been charged anything.

We have no charges with Sabadell and have both our uk state pensions paid into our account. We are residents and have never paid any charges since becoming resident. 

Just had my UK state pension and no charges by Sabadell. 😀 Also no bank charges for a Transferwise transaction post Brexit.

Only going to be using my account to pay direct debits etc so will need to wait and see what I’m charged
