I had mine install 4 years ago with another supplier, and I change to Flexa  after 2 years , I asked them Why can't they use the Existing cable. They said the cable was install  and owned by the Existing Supplier, so they could not use it. It's not like the UK where the line is installe...

I Would check with the existing supplier, as the line is already there, to see what deals they would give you.  I took out the full package first of all at 20e pm, but I found it was much cheaper to go Pay as you go for the Amount of time I spent out there being a Non-resident.

Thanks, will try and find out who the previous owner was with.

IPTV is what you need, don’t bother with satellite.

They could only provide us with 10mb, which is absolutely useless. Went with WiMAX....... brilliant 😀

I’ve not heard of this system, Where do you source it, and is it usable with ADSL?

Wimax is a mini-dish on the roof, with internet "broadcast" to it from a remote transmitter. We had this for years with Avatel, and initially could only get 4Mbps, then eventually they upgraded to 10Mbps. It can be affected by weather especially if there is some distance between supply and your receiver.

Since changing to Telecable fibre we get a rock-solid 600Mbps - whatever the weather!
