I am planning to come to Los Alcazares to visit my second home. I have waited until I have had both doses of the vaccine. I will need to do a covid test before flying home to the UK. Is there anywhere in Los Alcazares that I can get a test done? I do not drive so I need somewhere close to Los Alcazares if not available there. Can you get a test at Murcia Airport before you fly? I don’t want to book my flights until I know that I can definitely get a test to return home.

Nowhere in Los Alcazares but the medical centre opposite the Spar shop in San Javier does antigen tests for €30

We returned to uk on Friday. We have a place in Sucina. Had to go into Murcia for an acceptable test in Grupo cardio salus. Cost €20 each. Wait time 10 mins for result. Result needed at Murcia Airport to board plane no checks on documentation in Manchester.

The COVID test to return to the uk, does it need to be 72hrs when you land in the uk???
I return on a Monday, fly at 12.55pm land at 14.45pm. So do I need a test after 15.00 pm on the Friday before???
Thinking of changing my flights, as abit concerned the medical centre in San Javier , I believe is closed sat/sun , so limits the availability to get the test.
Everyone seems to be commenting on being checked at Murcia/ Alicante , no mention of UK airports???

It can be anytime within 72 hours before you fly home. We had ours done Thursday at 10.00 am flew home on Friday at 11.30

Thanks for the reply, the reason I’m asking is because, if the medical centre is closed sat/sun. I have to be at the airport at 11am Monday, therefore , I will have 2 hours Monday morning, and depending how long they are open on Friday, maybe a few hours after 3 on Friday.
But if it’s 72 hours before flying, it will give me all Friday afternoon.
Think I may just change the flight 😀

You can book at get either the antigen or PCR test at Alicante airport before you fly, EuroFins Megalabs are providing that facility at 12 Spanish airports. You can book an appointment on-line.

How much are the tests at Alicante Airport please
Personally I would have thought getting a test done at the airport is leaving it a bit late. Only needs a delay for any reason and you could miss the flight...?
