It's frustrating having bills to pay without even being there but like you I'm hoping by end of May, or June we will be able to fly there,maybe with proof of vacination enough for entry.

Have you had water bills like me, I've only owned the property for a month but had a bill for 42 euros. Didn't expect it as the place is empty

Ye, I expect a standing charge for electric, but I don't think there's one for water, but I might be wrong. Plus I see some on here have said their water bills are quarterly, I've only owned the property for a month. Maybe it's the last owners final bill but they've given it to me.

The new rules in England limiting foreign travel provide an exclusion for buying a house, moving home etc. They also include the 'Stanley exception' to travel to carry out repairs, etc. on a property owned abroad.

However, the Spanish rules to enter Spain only allow UK citizens who are residents of Spain, or who have an application for residency in progress....
