Are you British Joan ?

Yes, I am and feeling ashamed and disgusted the way that Bonkers Boris and his mob have handled the whole Covid 19  fiasco. Having other European countries not wanting to accept UK tourists because of  our  high infection and death rates is humiliating. Still, it is reassuring to hear that the beaches are not as bad as the media would have us believe.

Well done Boris Johnson,  you've handled the crappy end of a stick with grit and determination, despite the left orientated media and remoaners trying their hardest to harm our great nation.

Totally disgusted with their hypocritical, no social distancing protesting antics in London last couple of days over something that happened in America.   Where on earth were all the protesters when the young soldier and father Lee Rigby was brutally murdered in their City not many years ago.

I have followed this forum for 2 years rarely commenting! Well said zacdog Boris has been doing his best in a world we couldn’t have thought about a few months ago! I just am grateful that we didn’t have Jeremy Corbyn at the helm! God knows how the virus would have spread in the UK if that had been the case!

Aye, I know everyone has a right to their own opinion, but this nugget is running a little thin and starting to grate.  Just struck a wrong cord with me. Just because I'll soon be starting my retirement to the sun, it doesn't mean I've ceased to be British and patriotic. How have you settled?

What a load of bo**ocks!

Haven't heard from Boris in how long. He sends his lackeys out in the public forum over the past 2/3 weeks to defend his so-called leadership.

Spin doctor behind him decides to flout the rules that he was instrumental in implementing/imposing, yet no implications! You couldn't make it up!

Leadership? My ar*e!

Never thought I would say it, but as much as people may dislike her, Nicola Sturgeon has been the most honest and 'up front' politician I have seen in the UK in the last 2/3 months! Admits mistakes, acknowledging that things could have been done better and been very humble throughout. (surely she can't be a politician!)

Totally agree that the issues 'across the pond' appear to have impetus in the UK, which I am not in agreement with.

I totally agree with Zagdog with regards to Soldier Lee Rigby, but again, total lack of leadership from Boris the Buffooon! (not that Corbyn would have been better!)

Watching Boris on TV now, he decides to play the politician game (as most of them do!) and sits on the fence, not wanting to 'offend' his puppeteer in the US.

The George Floyd issue is a great deflection from how both Boris and Donald have 'handled' sic! the Corona Virus situation!

The sooner we (Spain and the EU) get away from these idiots in Westminster and the Whitehouse the better!!!

What a load of lefty remoaner crap, your a Gem, Gem.  All Nicola (Jimmy Cranky) Sturgeon does is listen to what Boris Johnson implements,  waits a few days, then makes it sound a bit more 'Scottishy' so as  to keep her group nationalists happy.  l also can't wait until the parting from Euro bureaucratic rules, so glad we agree on that. What happens 'across the pond' only has effect on the lefty sheep who just wait for the next issue to get angry about so they can ignore social distancing and the establishment!!

I am certainly no 'leftie', having voted conservative all of my life and supported Brexit, however the current UK  leadership (if that's what you like to call it) is woeful and beyond belief.

Tell me when you last heard anything useful coming out of Boris's mouth? About the same time you heard anything useful or sensible from Trump. (I'll look out for that blue moon tonight!)

You make the claim that Nicola Sturgeon waits for Boris to talk, then spins it in a different way. Quite ironic, given the Boris / Donald relationship!

She has made completely different decisions to Dominic (sorry Boris) and has continued to provide clear and detailed instructions, whether the Scots like it or not.

She has also shown humility, stating that errors and mistakes have been made, unlike the namby pampy rudderless supposed UK leader, who just doesn't have a clue! I was certainly not advocating Sturgeon for PM - all i stated was that from what I had seen, she has been the most up front and honest politician over the past 3 months.

If you truly believe that Boris / Dominic and all their cronies have handled this as true statesmen, then you are obviously beyond help!

I will get on with my life in Spain and hopefully make some visits to my home country in the coming years, assuming there are no quarantine requirements!
