If it is it should be itemised on your bill. Certainly is on our bills from aqualia. Don't forget basura was dropped for a while last year during initial lockdown period.

If you don't have a copy of your bill you can set up login details to your Aqualia account & view it there.

Many thanks for your helpful reply & is what I was actually doing this morning, which unfortunately then become quite depressing, in that it would appear they was charging for Busara, but apparently not anymore, would have been nice to be informed of the fact! and now that we are post brexit, would imagine that it is now going to be a painful & costly problem to solve  Kind Regards Andy

Would anyone be able to explain to me why I have been debited for Basuras for 5th Jan/Feb/Mar - €26.50 which will amount to €318 if this continues every month whereas I used to pay it quarterly, paying €106! I have tried to find an email for the town hall and have been unsuccessful. Does anyone know the email please?

That is what you have been charged - €26.50 for the quarter.

I usually get charged once every three months but have already been charged €26.50 each month so far this year - in other words 3 x €26.50 so far this year. Jan Feb and March, surely there is something wrong here so I tried Banc Sabadell to help me, asking for Town Hall’s address but they say they do not know it. Would you happen to know it please?

Maybe you should print out the details of each debit. It is possible that they are playing catch-up and charging you each month for each quarter?

The payments should show all the details you need to be able to ask the town hall. 

I live in the UK and probably won’t be out in LA until September. I have looked on the direct debit form which Sabadell send me and can’t see any contact information whatsoever and that is why I thought that if I could get an email address then I could do something about it. I don’t particularly want to ring as I’m sure it would cost me an arm and a leg as I would probably be out in hold for ages, hence the need for an email address for the town hall. I don’t know why they should be playing catch up as I have been debited every quarter up until now and never fallen behind with the payments.
