I just walked from the Los Alcázares Playa Espejos jetty on the seafront to my car, parked at top of Rambla bridge, water levels in the Rambla have dropped 50mm in last two hours, that can be seen by the muddy deposits now exposed in the playground area. The Rambla is doing what it is supposed to do.
Looking over the Mar Menor, wind is less than 14 knots (28km per hour) rain is easing. It was blasting at 25 knots (50km this morning)
Now there may be more rain in the Campos to the west but at this stage, this is just a heavy rain event, of which there four or five every year, it is at this stage not the slightest like the Gota Frias of 2018.

Rain clearing, its over...
A retrospective, there was actually some low level flooding in the old town about eight to ten inches in some streets and of course the underground garages there were flooded that did not have flood barriers.
