Arrived at Murcia Airport yesterday morning from Bristol waited n waited for my suitcase never arrived.  Great start to a 7 day holiday.  Reported it to Easy Jet lost baggage dept. They have opened a file but have still not confirmed that my suutcase is still at Bristol, if it is hopefully it will come on the same flight this morning.

I have all my medication in the suitcase, which I realise was a big mistake on my part.  Clothes etc etc which I am not that bothered about.  I have gone one night already without my medication which is already causing me problems.  Just wish Easy Jet could tell me at least they have found it.

It's definitely worth a visit to the pharmacy. We have just had to extend our holiday by a week because my son came out with chicken pox and I had only brought enough medication for the planned holiday so I was effectively a week short. Two of my meds (tramadol and pregabalin) are 'controlled' in the UK but I was still given them over the counter at the pharmacy (and they cost less than a prescription price in the UK).

So unless you are absolutely sure your suitcase will arrive today it's probably worth a visit to the pharmacy.

Regards

Mark

I can’t believe the Farmicia are dishing out strong medication without a prescription.  Tramadol is an opioid drug & highly addictive with multiple other side effects.  Those pharmacists are acting illegally.  Be careful.  Sorry to hear about your lost suitcase.  Hope it has been rectified.  Enjoy your holiday.

I wasn't suggesting the original poster (or anyone else) walk in to the pharmacy and get tramadol and pregabalin if they aren't their usual meds, I was simply pointing out that there is no point suffering symptoms or with withdrawal of whatever their current meds are when a visit to the pharmacy MAY give them the meds they need.

My meds are prescribed for me in the UK for a condition that is far worse than the side effects or addictiveness of the meds in question.....I was in no way suggesting that anyone just walks into a pharmacy and ask for meds they don't need. I've re-ead my previous post again and I can't see that I ever suggested that, just trying to be helpful to the original poster.

As for whether the pharmacy was acting legally I have no idea I'm just very grateful they gave me the meds I needed to manage my condition.

Anyway, I hope the original poster gets sorted.

Regards

Mark

Yes I totally agree on this thought they would need a prescription from my Doctors to dish these out.  My suitcase arrived on Sunday so all ok.

Thanks again

Great...I'm glad it arrived ok in the end, I know how horrible it is to rely on medication and then not have access to it.
