Sorry perhaps I miss read the email, to exchange your uk licence you no longer need to take a driving school test, you just have to have a medical. The link I sent was to arrange a medical appointment.

Don't try and do it yourself, get a Gestor, will cost you 50e but save you days of grief.
I used AskRichelleAndalucia, she arranged my DGT appointment in Murcia and filled out the paperwork, I had my medical in Torrevieja yesterday and my DGT appointment is on Thursday.
Good luck, you will need it.

Yes, they are very quick at it, its quite easy. Do not put off by people telling you its hard at all.

It really is quite straightforward as long as you have the correct paperwork. Just follow the instructions on the DGT website.
I did it myself and exchanged mine yesterday at Cartagena.
The plastic card is sent out after a couple of months.

Thanks for info I’ve emailed her. How quick was the process and what did your medical test involve please? Was it difficult if you have limited Spanish?

medical test is a series of questions, eye test…sometimes blood pressure but not always…its very basic..then a coordination test with a videogame like machine…keeping a car on the road…
