I am planning on moving to the Los Alcazares area in 2 years time. I want a Newbuild villa. How long before I actually move, would i need to start house hunting.

In my opinion you would be far better off buying something that exists, rather than something that might never get built.
It is easier to buy something then 'twiddle' it to what you want, rather than buy a plan that may never happen.
