Looking to buy used LHD Spanish reg car. Must be 5 door 5 seat, diesel or petrol, automatic preferred but not essential. I’m in Spain early June if anyone as anything

If you have Facebook, look at 'Marketplace' , put in the location in Spain where you will be staying and select how many Kms you are prepared  to go to look. Then you can either click on the Vehicles tab or enter a make and model. Lots of Ads in Spanish but there is a translate option.

Its a lot cheaper than going to a Car dealer but obviously requires a bit more effort.

Am a bit concerned about buying private as I've been told cars history (outstanding fines etc) passes to new owner so wondering now if there's anything like the HPI (or anyone who offers this checking service) we have in the UK?

Carfax is similar to an HPI check  but unfortunatly is not always up to date
