Tax on property

Hi I’ve just bought a property on the Costa Cálida can anyone tell me upon our death the house will go to my children. Is there massive tax to pay the Spanish government.

If you make a Spanish will, with a clause stating that UK law must govern inheritance you should have no problem.
As for taxes, it is virtually impossible to do anything in Spain without paying tax. You should ask the abogado who is dealing with your purchase, it can be complicated.
