Has anyone noticed the electricity increase imposed associated with RDL 10/2022".
Are all companies imposing this increase?
There was a new law (Royal Decree 10/2022) which applies an additional charge of approx. €0.154994 per kWh of consumption to bills.
This is stated as being applied to cover the additional costs that energy suppliers are incurring in producing electricity due to the increase in wholesale gas prices. This may be in place for the next year.
Apparently, it shouldn't be applied if you are on a fixed / tailored tariff contract with your supplier, but if / when you change supplier or contract, or have done since 26th April 2022, then it can be applied.
Not good news but not as bad as the energy price increases in the UK!

Been with Ibdrola for many many years, never changed supplier as I am pleased to say no company could beat what I pay and no don't have the extra payment applied my last bill was just under 25 euros

Like Eduardo stuck with iberdola and in fact my bill last month and kw usage has gone down ,bill less
