My darling little dog Tito was stolen from my garden in Los Narejos at about 9,15 this morning.  He is a white terrior similar to a Jack Russel. He was heard squealing by my brother but then was nowhere to be seen. I have reported it to the police. Tito has been chipped.

If anyone can help get him back I am offering 1000 euros for his safe return.

So sorry to read about your little dog.

By coincidence we heard a dog scream this morning whilst walking our dog. It may have been the sound yours was making at the time of the theft.

We would do the same as you and if the thief sees your reward it is probably much more than your little dog is worth to him. He would know he could pretend to have found it to claim his reward .

Trouble is will he even see this on tbe forum. You need therefore to advertise the reward wherever you can.

Print off signs and attach them to lamposts, billboards and participating willing shops/ cafe's in the hope that the scroat who took your dog sees the offer.

Time is of the essence.

We walk our dog regularly in the area we will keep our eyes peeled for him.

We have downloaded Tito's picture to show around.

Good luck, we hope Tito is soon returned, best regards

Thank you so much. Tito wandered back into the house 5 hours later looking very sorry for himself with blood all over his jaw. It would appear that he got out under the gate and got bitten by another dog. I'm guessing he then took cover under a car until he felt safe to move. He did have black marks on his back which would support that theory. But at the time I was convinced he'd been taken. Still alls well that ends well and thank you again for your best wishes and support.

Im glad you got hom back, you are very lucky, dogs are taken for all kinds of reasons not worth thinking about! Try buying some of that screening mesh people use on balconys for his safety and your peace of mind then he wont get out again. He is worth so much to you. He is a lovely little fella.

Thanks for your comments. It's slightly more complicated than that but I'm working on a viable solution. He is my life so nothing is more important.

I've been stunned by the response I've had and I thank everyone for their concern. You're all great. xx
