Two friendly cats desperately seeking a home.

My Mom suddenly passed away last week leaving two beautiful cats that she doted on. As well as dealing with my grief I am worried sick for the cats as sadly I am unable to take them. They are 4 year old neutered siblings called Bertie & Lucy and both are friendly cats. Bertie is the larger of the two and a little more confident than Lucy. They are black and fluffy with the biggest eyes. They do not know us at all, so currently they are a little timid, but my Mom used to say what lovely cats they are.

This is Bertie. He is so handsome and the following photo is of Bertie and Lucy. They have never been apart so ideally it would be wonderful if they could stay together.

I am desperately looking for a new home or some advice as to who to contact. I’m devastated to discover that it is quite different to the U.K as there does not seem to be a solution. I am so worried about them as I have got to return to the U.K soon. Thank you for anything that you can do 😥

So sorry to hear about your mum's passing and also about your predicament with her cats. I'm not over there but I have dogs anyway. You must Google and check locally for animal / pet rescue, the only other decent thing to do is take them with you. Please on no circumstances must you dump them as you seem to be implying by saying you are worried for them?! As pets, your mum would have loved these poor things, please do the right thing, they are your responsibility now. Good luck with rehoming them either way.

Great news!!! Big Red’s Animal Retreat in Almoradi has just accepted my Moms cats. They are frightened but Suella reassured us that they would be well looked after.

I am also desperately seeking help to re home 2 beautiful babies(cats).Bobby and Minnie are brother and sister,7 years old.My dearest close friend has just passed away here in Corvera.(close to the airport).I have flown out from England to assist with the funeral and just have to find a home for these beloved furry friends.Please please can you help me as to how I contact the animal retreat that you mention or anyone who can help me.S.O.S.
