As you are probably aware BANKIA will soon cease to exist has it has been taken over by LA CAIXA bank. All previously BANKIA accounts will be automatically transferred over to a CAIXA account.
This means that you will be allocated a new account number.
In theory all your existing direct debit should be maintained and continue to work as normal, however it is possible that come November 2021 when a new account number is assigned that some direct debits and standing orders stop working.
This means that some of your bills might be paid and some wont or altogether none at all.
So as to avoid any nasty surprises such as utility cut offs, late payment surcharges etc… strongly recommend making sure you update your account number where needed.
