This a confirmation that you do not need to have a Spanish phone number in order to have a debit card. 

I don't know why I been told otherwise. 

I have a free online bank account with cajamar and attached my UK phone number and when tested, was ok, but I do not have a debit card because they said I need a Spanish phone number. 

I am going to call the branch I am with and try to solve the problem.

The wefferent account is strictly an online account and as such has no specific branch allocated to it. Yo6can get all the information needed regarding this by telephoning the wefferent help line who will give the exact details of what you can do.

I know all this because that's what my branch have told me, but there are many people same situation like me and still they have debit card. 

I will take your advice to contact the help line.

So when you go in branch to open a Cajamar account do you need to provide a Spanish address or can you open an account before you purchase a property  ?
