Am told fibre isn't available in the particular street in Los Narejos I have purchased, and am being told the other option is using an Antenna.I think this is called Wimax? Has anyone used or is using this method, and if so, how good have you found it?

Until Telecable managed to get fibre in our house we suffered over 3 years of inadequate unreliable Wimax internet from Avatel & its equally useless predecessor.
Up to you but in the past months at least 2 companies have been installing fibre cabling in Los Narejos - I would advise checking the situation and schedule of all of these rather than contracting a service you will not be happy with.

I understand fibre might be available in the exact area I will be in, probably just a matter of time, I will make do with Wimax until then.

Be careful that you not locked in for a long period, and allow for the installation costs. We have asked Avatel to remove the Wimax dishes on our roof but they say they are not doing this at the moment “due to Covid”. Quite what the risks to health are climbing up to our roof - other than from making an unplanned descent escapes me, but they never did what they promised since 2017!

No, I won't get locked into anything, and hopefully won't be too long before fibre is available.
