We missed our winter time in LA last year for obvious reasons, but getting there this year is proving equally problematic. We cannot seem to find any flights to Covera , only Alicante, which makes the journey onwards a bit of an endurance. Any advice would be welcome.

The airport is open but it depends where you want to fly from?. They are on winter schedule so fewer flights. Hopefully more from March.

We flew from Manchester to Corvera in December. You can check the daily flight schedule by checking their website

We booked flights from RMU yesterday - Ryanair flights start from RMU to STN on 27th March.
