Can we leave Los Alcazeres yet to go to Dos Mares?

The previous post is wrong. Los Alcazares ( postcode 30710) is a city, and not part of Murcia city. You are NOT allowed to leave or enter the city boundaries except for very essential reasons, carrying with you proof of that need.

Los Alcazares municipality is not part of Murcia municipality.

Unfortunately LA municipality is in lockdown for another week I'm afraid and LA residents should not travel to Dos Mares as that is in San Javier. (see link)

Thanks Gem. Didn’t see anything on Murcia Today this morning.

Hoping for the best. Not to be

I said on here a month ago that we live on the 332 and the road is busy all day long and that the shops in los alcazares have more people in them than live in los alcazares unless you have a serious lockdown of los alcazares there will be no change to the situation los alcazares is so  small yet the people when we went to get some milk today was as if everyone on los alcazares was shopping sadly we will continue the infection rate from outsiders coming into los alcazares either do it properly or let people from los alcazares go out to shop

Only the small municipalities of Los Alcazares and Albanilla still have border restrictions. Although Murcia is a large region of 45 municipalities, Murcia city itself is one of those municipalities.

It is not the Murcia region that is isolated - just the city of Los Alcazares. Please do not mis-advise people as this could lead to them being fined or arrested. It is simple: if you live in Los Alcazares you stay within the city boundaries, if you live outside you stay out!

You will also see that Los Alcázares is a totally separate municipality to that of Murcia city! Murcia is also the name of the province in which both municipalities are located but this is not the same thing. The province of Murcia has 45 municipalities, one of which is the capital city that's called Murcia city. All the 45 are separated by boundaries and it's been these boundaries that were originally closed off at the end of October. As the number of Covid cases went down below 500 per 100,000 inhabitants in each municipality, they were released from the obligation to stay within their own municipality and were then permitted to travel within the borders of the province. Los Alcázares has had its boundaries closed since the last week of October and continues to be closed. Today's numbers show that there are currently 620 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Instead of insisting the same thing over and over again, you might want to listen to what others are telling you and brush up on your local knowledge!

Mag44 is correct.

You also referred to my post, where I stated Los Alcazares was a 'municipality' and that Dos Mares was in San Javier 'municipality', therefore residents from Los Alcazares were not allowed to travel to Dos Mares. (unless they had a lawful reason to do so)

Well I think that we're all on the same page now, so let's just take care, keep safe and hope that we'll be able to visit Dos Mares, Ikea in Murcia and all the other places that we want to go to, very soon. Happy New Year everyone!! xx
