My understanding is that if you deposit €700 euro a month with Sabadell there are no charges??

no charges for deposits on an Expansion account...once you are resident and pay a minimum 700€ per month...we use transferwise to transfer from UK bank ...good rate and low fees.

Same comment as Crissywissy except that we are not resident but do have an NIE number. We find TransferWise pretty good.

Hola If I were you I would look for some other Bank I was sent around and around trying to stop house insurance after six weeks they just took the €360 any way it took another two months to get a refund plus in the Rolan branch one member of staff assaulted me
(all I wanted to do was hand in a letter, that I left on his counter, when I was almost out of the branch he "just" attacked me)

Did you report the assult? Cancelling home insurance is complicated. You have to write to the insurance company every year two months before payment is due. Very frustrating process.

It is me I just attract the wrong people it is down to fact I am so easy going and very quiet ( a pushover) but then would you be happy if someone conned you out of a lot of money and why is it so hard to stop house insurance you need to see what Sabadell put me through as for the car roof liner it was my fault I left the car in the sun all I was asking "where can I get a repair" ??? why do you need to comment?
Yes I am happy in Spain as long as I am left alone I have what is called Anthropobia with anxiety from being treated badly with
my past wife I have made contact with my son at last so on this point happy so I hope to stay under the radar but as I say I have all the bad luck
Happy with your comment I must point out my "facts" of mistreatment over the Car has made over 575 likes and has even now made it into the papers over here so yes I am happy with Spaiñ it is the slow pace I can not get used to please do not be negative

Use either currency direct or TransferWise to transfer money from uk to Spain, Sabadell did not charge to receive money, if you are moving money to buy property it is better to transfer money directly to your lawyers client account as her rally they will charge yo draw up a banker a draft to pay deposit and final purchase amount,
