Disposal of old settee

I'm up in the northwest of Murcia. Up the road from us is Calasparra dog rescue, they have old settees for their rescue dogs. We have one from them (dog that is, not settee), try keeping him off the furniture! Blimmin' thing likes his comfort.

Perhaps a dog rescue near you may be grateful for your old settee?

Thanks for that, that's a great idea.  If there isn't anything like that near me do you know if I can arrange for the council to take it away or anything?

Hi Just saw this- everyone else leaves large furniture - beds/sofas etc beside the rubbish bin in your street and it will be picked up- there is a small rubbish lorry with a crane who comes round once or twice a week.
