I have been looking to furnish our apartment. I have seen from websites that furniture packages are available to buy direct. As I have never purchased a property abroad before could anyone advise me if this is my best option or should I wait until we return to collect keys. Thanks denise

I'd only buy a furniture package if you want cheap and cheerful, and don't mind replacing it in a couple of year's.

Hi
We've just furnished our apartment. I would recommend that you visit some of the large shopping centres. There is one on the outskirts of Cartagena also La Zenia is fantastic. Both have plenty of furniture shops. You are able to choose your furniture and they will deliver it and put it you for you. Also there is an Ikea in Murcia which we found very good for kitchen utensil etc.
try
They are a liquidation warehouse with plenty of bargains.
Hope that helps.
Packages are cheap and nasty
Head to ikea in murcia!

San Javier is full of furniture shops along the main road near Iceland and DFES...Hiper Sofa is cheap and Casi Gratis...some of thevothers more expensive....just past Dos Mares is Pintatar park with Aki and JYSK .....worth a look too.
