We have been coming to the area for the past few year sometimes twice a year. We would like to come back in
April but reading different reports about restaurants being closed, the beach not in good condition. is it still worth a visit or is it still needing repair? We wanted to rent an apartment near the beach and the old hotel.

Apart from the beach where the sand hasn't been replaced everything is back to normal ( one or two of the wooden chiringuitos too ) .the bars and restaurants that close for the winter will be open before Easter and they always repair the beach ahead of the tourist season.
