Hi we are coming over next week 9th of March to have a look about and decide if it’s better to rent or buy we will be looking at Villamartin Murcia and anything else also want to find out about long term renting ;we have to sell our house yet but are a bit scared of the private healthcare and all extcwe are both in our late fifties and fed up so it’s either England or Spain as summer in Scotland feels like one day now Linda

Thanks Greg probably two bed would be enough as it’s just two of us and a cat !
And we have to sell our house yet but will be over 9th March to have a look around so hopefully the snows gone we’re travelling from Inverness and weather is not good ! Linda

We have just returned from a week travelling looking for a property and we found one in Los alcazares. Searched around quite a few and can recommend murcia villas who were extremely helpful and professional. We met with quite a few agents and I can say that Murcia villas were the most informative and helpful. We are not quite ready ready to retire but have made the plunge. Good luck

Hi Linda, we live in Strathpeffer so not that far from Inverness but have a holiday home in Los Gallardos further south in Almeria which we much prefer to the Murcia region (except Ikea which we visit regularly). We also have a 2 bed/2 bathroom townhouse coming up for long term rent in Palomares on the Costa Almeria. PM me if you would like more info.

Hi, I'm AndyBakes (aged 70), and interested in eventually long term renting in the Murcia area, in a village or town where walking (maybe cycling) can (almost) negate the need to drive: either near the coast, or not far inland. At this time, I'd like to come over for a 'taster' visit, maybe two weeks initially, then a month or more, being up to three months in time; before plunging into a long term 12 month, renewable if it goes well, rental.
If anyone can offer help, including accommodation - or suggestion for an hotel for the first visit - please get back to me.
