Planning to move permanently in the coming year..wondering what area would suit us better..LA or narejos..wife would prefer area on the flat..

All the best with your move - I’m sure you will do your homework and find the location that suits your lifestyle 👌

There are many lovely places to eat around LA and surrounding towns, personally we love some places on the strip but it’s each to their own.

Just make sure you get a good lawyer to ensure you know all the costs and tax implications for your home.

All the very best 👍

We do live here permanently and have a place in Lo Pagan. We are happy to dine at the many and varied restaurants in Los Alcazares, but prefer the more Spanish feel of the coast just a little further up, also with the option of having the Mediterranean Sea 5 minutes away.

I would strongly recommend renting at different times of the year,to get a better idea of the areas, in fact we rented for 3 years before deciding, really didn't want to make a mistake!!

You will find exactly where suits you best, just take your time

Good luck!

just bought apartment in Puerto marina 2 months ago and got to say its a very beautiful place  and well looked after 😍

Hi - we are looking to buy on Puerta Marina, but unsure if it is an area liable to flood. Have you heard anything about flooding over the past few years?

thanks

I understand the insurance companies have a comprehensive list of all areas subject to flooding. Maybe the Ayuntamiento (council) have that knowledge too. I'm sorry but I have no knowledge of the area in terms of flooding.  You are wise to check it out though. Best of luck. Ann
