Interpreters
Hi, just wondered if anyone could help me with this one please. If someone needs a Spanish to English Interpreter, in a Spanish hospital, is the cost of the Interpreter paid for by the NHS, here in the UK?

In the major hospitals such as Santa Lucia, there are often interpreters working who can be engaged for short periods, quite inexpensively.
Regardless of whether to plan to get an interpreter on not.
The absolutely most important thing for you to do, is write out your medical history accurately in English and any current symptoms which are sending you to the Hospital or medical clinic, and use Word translate or similar to output that into Spanish.
Ideally if you take a couple of printed copies with Spanish and English, you will find the path forward is much clearer.
