I was a general nurse for 41 years, retiring 2 years ago.  If your GP has a practice nurse I am sure she would not mind giving you the injection.  It would appear in Spain that the health service expects the patient or a relative to give injection without any instruction.  There are no district nurses in Spain unlike the UK.  There are private nursing agencies who would be very willing to take you on but at a price.  Good luck.  Sheila.

If you are certain you need the injection (i.e. you have had a blood test recently) you should surely be able to get one from your Spanish general practice?

If you are not registered with the health service then your health insurance should cover it.

If the health service will not carry out the blood test & injection if needed then it suggests that it is not considered important for your health. There seem to be lots of foods that provide B12 as an option.

Go to your nearest GP surgery & the nurse there will do it.   Bring passport & other documentation.  Very straight forward. If you have a copy of why you need B12 take that.  Good luck.
