Sorry to bother you again but are there any areas best avoided? We have been looking at all different types of properties but the new ones seem to be near golf courses and a little far out. Are there any new properties near to beach maybe?

I reiterate again, that it is best to rent for a few months first. Walk the roads/area at different times of the day. Look out for the roads with dogs barking constantly throughout the day. Not pleasant.

Sheilab63s advice is good advice. You may find a house you love but dogs next door bark all day and every Spanish family has a dog, sometimes 3!! Also in the summer there are many loud discos that do not finish until 8 in the morning so you do not want to be near them.
There are no bad parts to Los Alcazares. It is divided into 2,the old original part with more elderly and the newer half with every nationality.I hope this is of help

Jenny great advice well written/said. I know every street in Los Alcazares as I dog walk/sit. Know ‘the good’ & roads I would not live in due to different negative reasons. My advice is rent for a short period before buying. In the long run it will be more cost effective.

Thank you for this info. Never thought of dogs barking! We will be visiting for probably only one week but will take your advice and visit properties at different times of day/night.

Thank you for this info. Unfortunately we will probably only be visiting for one week but will certainly take on board what has been said and will visit potential properties at different times of day/night.

Hi. I have lived in Los Alcázares for seven months moved three times . Living in Los Narejos it is a 5 min walk to beach . There are two churches 5 and 10 minutes away by car but don't know if they have English speaking services . Our 4 bed house with 100 foot drive is only 425 pounds a month beautiful garden. Would cost 1300 pounds to rent similar in UK. Good luck
