Hiya .I've had an apartment near la Serena  golf course for 12 months now. I haven't witnessed or heard any reports of any crime. Long may it continue 😀

We live on a golf resort partly because of the security which means there is almost no crime...in the town there are some burglaries ...usially of empty properties and you always have to be aware of the normal pickpockets and handbag thefts particularly in the markets. You just need to be aware and stay safe. Certainly not anywhere yhe level of crime in UK!!

We move over on 7 December and also purchased beside la Serena golf course. Good to hear from someone living there already no issue with crime other than the usual line anywhere else in the world

We may be neighbours eventually, ours won’t be built until October next year!

Hi Carl just a quick question as you live down near La Serana Golf Course has there been much flooding over there? We have a look down on Saturday after the flooding on Friday and appeared fine. We were going to come and have a look today but most of the roads are shut in and around La Torre which is where we havean apartment at the moment thanks Hay

Hi. We are thinking of buying a property in Los Alcazares. The auctioneer informed us that the gypsies are squatting in a property next to the property we were thinking of buying. We are now wondering should we buy in Los Alcazares at all? Can anybody advise on the situation and areas that don't have these problems?

Thanks in advance.

Tadhg

These sorts of crimes, along with general muggings, burglaries, rapes etc are becoming more frequent, and there seems to be an almost total lack of police on patrol.

It may be safer on the gated golf urbanisations, but that changes when you venture out.
