TIE Appointment Oficinas de Extranjería de Murcia- Documents Required - Any Recent Experience?

Anyone had recent experience of their appointment for the TIE with the Murcia office?  We have our appointment with the Murcia office in Jul and have the resolution letter which says the only documents required are:

1 - Ex 23

2 - The resolution letter

3 - Proof of the payment of the fee of the card Form 790 Code 012

4 - A photograph in colour, front, white background and Spanish DNI size

We will, of course, take our passport with us but are there any other documents that we should also take with us to avoid any frustration and delay? For example how many photos do we need to take, do we need every page of the passport, do we take our Padron (does it have to be within the last 3 months even if you have not moved addresses?), financial/bank statements etc - All such documents were uploaded digitally with our Cl@ve account at the time of the Residence application so do we need to take them again?

It would be useful to know of your experience of what you were asked for and what to expect when we get there - queues, arrangements/system inside the building, parking etc.  I have looked at the Alicante post and the experience of someone else but I have also read that like everything in Spain all things are not equal and Murcia might do things differently!

Many thanks in advance.

Hi

I did mine last Nov so can't remember if it was a requirement or not, but I took my passport, an up to date Padron, photos and also proof of private medical cover (you obviously won't need that if you are registered in the Spanish healthcare system).

Very quick and easy: even the security guard enjoyed using his English, and smiled!

We parked in the streets nearby, went in a bit early, got seen and sorted straigthaway. About 4 weeks later out "lote" came up (keep checking on the site you use to get appointments), made appointment within a couple of days to collect the cards, again a friendly quick process.

I was there on Friday. Only needed my proof of appointment, passport, a passport sized pic, (I took the small version too but the chap took the larger version when I gave him the choice) the EX23 form and proof of payment. Saying that I took all my other paperwork in a seperate folder for a just in case senario. I was in and out before my appointment was even due.

Many thanks..that is comforting.  Did they want to see a Padron that was less than 3 months old?  There is no way to digitally download an up to date Padron from the Los Alcazares municipal website - it only allows you to download the original issued which in our case was Sept last year.  Thanks

Many thanks that is very comforting.  We have done the same preparation for our appointment.  Only thing that is worrying us is whether we need an up to date Padron as we can’t download that from the Los Alcazares municipal website and don’t have enough time before our appointment to get an up to date one.  We can only print a copy of our original Which is dated Sept 20. Many thanks

You do not need a Padron if your address has not changed from your residencia, your photo should be 32×26 on a White background,as per your driving licence.

There is a car park - cost 1.50 - if you get something from the restaurant it is free. Just be careful if you do not park in the car park and on the streets someone got a parking ticket recently, due to pick up TIE card in couple of weeks.

" on the streets someone got a parking ticket recently" I suspect that rather than being on the streets - where there are no yellow lines or visible restrictions - they may have parked on someone's land, or it could just be someone trying it on? They should certainly look hard at the ticket before paying anything!

The road at the end has parking signs, park at the restaurant just up on the corner€1.50 all day or free if you buy a drink.
