living in Los Belones

Hi, I'm looking for some information on Los Belones area, I have read on some other sites that there is a problem with infestation of flies due to agriculture ? Is anyone aware of this?

We have an appartement in Mar de Cristal and were also told that there are masses of flies around due to the fields. For the last 3 years we had some but not what we had in our house in France. We didn’t bother to buy fly spray. OK they bothered me (2 flies) when sitting outside and would like to have a share of my fruit cake (teehee)

We rented in Mar de Cristal, which is just across this agricultural field area from Los Belones. It was from mid April to mid July only but we were plagued by flies. I noticed the difference when we moved away and the problem all but disappeared.
