La Manga is 10 minutes drive away with plenty of hotels.  Probably the best place.

There is a good choice of hotels at affordable prices in Los Alcazares. It’s a 15 minute drive from where you are searching.

The Spanish government now wants to charge owners abroad 100% taxes on homes they own in Spain.

If this really nasty stuff goes through, there will be plenty of houses in Spain going cheap, so maybe wait?

Not if you have to pay 100% tax when you want to buy one of them!
