Best broadband provider for holiday home

We use Martinez electronica based in La Palma. They are very good, cost €20 for one month when we were out in February. We have the fibre optic installed. Once set up with them you just WhatsApp when you want it on and off & set up direct debit.

Martinez internet tel 0034606200200 but we did go in to the office initially to set up.

Hi Matt,

They are located in offices in La Palma. They are really helpful and there is usually someone who speaks English if your Spanish isn’t great. Like you we were only going for two weeks at a time, but you can book just weekly if necessary. Basically the longer time the cheaper the weekly rate. I just email them our dates & they confirm and take the money from our Spanish bank account. Set up was easy, two people came and the fibres were in and I was online within an hour. I paid by card in the office the first time when they went through the details with me. I can’t remember the set up fee but it was very reasonable. You can also get an English tv system if you want but I’ve never bothered with this. Never had an issue with them & speeds are great. We sometimes have up to 8 or more devices depending on who is with us. You’ll need your NIE number & spanish bank account details & photo id when you set up.
