Advice re buying a holiday property in Los Urrutias or Costa Calida area

Los Urrutias is quiet, even in Summer.

I have a share in a boat there, and I have never seen the beach busy, even on an August weekend. That said, the beach is safe but it isn't great - it can get a bit smelly and weedy.

If you have a car, Los Urrutias is OK. Local services/amenities are limited, but you are only 20 minutes away (by car) from the bigger Mar Menor towns.

If you want to be "in the middle of it all", look further up - Lo Pagan, Los Alcazares, Santiago de la Ribera.

Further South, Mar de Cristal has a nice beach, but is very quiet. Los Nietos is super quiet, but has a tram connection to La Union and Cartagena.

Thank you, hoping to visit these areas when permitted so it’s great to get advice so we can pin point the areas that could be suitable so would give the very quiet places a miss for now.
