I went to the chemist today and was charged 5.50€ per face mask. Despite them not being opened in any way they said no to a refund and stated it was my fault for not speaking perfect spanish. I was given no receipt or explanation.
It rather shows that some Farmacias are more interested in making profits than caring about the spread of Coronavirus. They are supposed to be a maximum price of 96 cents each (price set by the government), and if you are over 65 you should get them free by showing your CARM health card. This might be good to know:

I bought four today ... 96c each (blue paper masks).
Perhaps your E5.50 masks were of better quaity ?

If you are over 65 and registered in the health service here, you should just have shown you medical card and asked for your free as supplied by the government/
