We have just sold our house in Javea Alicante region, will we be allowed to travel to Mar Menor to stay at a rented apartment until we buy another house? We are so worried about travelling and not being allowed into the region.

Traveling outsite your "town" is not allowed for the next 2 weeks....

Where is your house, travelling to your place of habitation is allowed
The fact the locations changes does not change the rule, you can travel to your place of habitation, once you sell your house it is no longer your home.
I could be wrong but anything other would make you homeless.
