Can anyone give me information on which airlines allow pets from Alicante to London. I’ve looked this up on line but the ones I’ve looked at don’t allow them on when going to the UK
Try TUI. That’s the only one we could find that would fly our cats out here. There are others, but some are ridiculously expensive. Good luck!

Unfortunately because the UK never joined the Schengen zone (let alone the leaving the EU) it has never been possible for a pet to be simply taken on board - unlike the French with their poodles and the Spanish with Yorkies who just walk on with them for travel within Europe.
They have to be put into a flight carrier, copious paperwork done with vets and rabies certificates, then put in the hold, and very few airlines or airports are approved to offer this.
The only other way is to drive to the UK (with all the rabies passport stuff done) and use a pet-friendly ferry (or Eurotunnel?) but all this will cost a lot more than a budget airline ticket.

Yes I’m realising it’s not that easy but I’m thinking now to drive to Santander and get the ferry to Portsmouth. Thank you for your reply
