Do you mean a rental registration number with the tourist board to begin renting??

This is the new law where new rental properties have to register with the town hall with proof that it’s been approved by 3/5 of their community. Doesn’t apply if there’s a Tourist licence in place before April 3/2025

Hi, yes that's what I thought. Ours was prior to this, which is why I didn't impart our experience as it isn't relevant. Sorry, I am of no help!

There is a tourist license for renting to tourists which is the first step.this means premises being inspected and a licence granted if acceptable. From July 1st there is another separate  registration no. which must be obtained to be able to advertise on any platform.3/5 of the community agreeing to renting is a separate matter. If prior to the vote you have been renting , with a tourist license, and paying taxes etc, legally, the vote won’t affect you as it is not retrospective. However, if the community votes no to renting, from the voting date you can’t rent out anyway unless illegally. I am sure communities that vote no have a lot of people only waiting to report offenders and see them heavily fined! There is an online form to apply for the post 1st July registration no. Seems complicated and I have had to instruct solicitors to do mine. Not expensive I don’t think but it’s necessary, so my best option. I went everywhere to obtain this no. and nobody knew about it. Obviously, if you are Spanish, or speak good Spanish perhaps the procedure will be easir

Am currently in the middle of the NRA number registration 

To do this online you need a digital cert and a Spanish bank account 

If you have both then access the Sede/Registradores website and there is a manual with instructions 

I have no Spanish bank account so completed the online form and printed it off 

You will need your CRU number from your deeds and the catastral number also from your deeds or IBI receipt

Visited my local registradores office with my passport, tourist license and completed form.  

They checked it off and said am to wait on an email to pay when it’s ready.  I understand various registradores have different times to wait but will be notified with instruction on how to make the bank transfer which is €27-30

I have also have the name of someone in Mazarron who will do this for way less than that cost but she seems up to her eyes hence the diy job I’m mid way through
