Los Alcazares has everything but is busy in summer months....still plenty to do in the winter too., great expat community and very sociable! Santiago de la Ribera along to Lo Pagan ..lovely beaches , plenty of bars and restaurants but very quiet in winter....if you want more for your money look a little further inland.

Thanks for that info. My son normally pays for us to go to Majorca each year. I was just thinking about asking if he wants to come with me to Santiago to have a look around(spooky). I will look up trubuco hotel. Thanks again. 

It’s actually Hotel Trabuco but Hotel Pagan is right on the front google them

look at Hotel Ribera on the front at Santiago de la Ribera...Hotel Pagan is Los Alcazares ...few minutes walk to the beach...also Costa narejos and hotel Cristina in Los Alcazares

Thank you 😊 I’ve just been talking to my son, he’s coming over next weekend to arrange for us to come and look around Santiago de la Ribera soon. It’s a bit daunting at my age to sort things on my own.
