Winter in Mar Menor area

Hello! We are looking for advice on the best area for golf January and February 2020. We need a one bedroom comfortable apartment with good views maybe over a golf course. We want somewhere with lots of folk around - we don’t want to be staying in a block which is all quiet for winter. A local tennis court/ club would also be great. Any other advise on flights/ from Scotland and car hire would be appreciated.

We hope to research the area in November.

We live on Mar Menor Golf and love it here...and have a rental apartment too....car hire try Flamenca cars or Centauro...

Hi Freda , I have a 2 bedroom villa that will be vacant from 6th Jan. Not overlooked, a/c, etc.. On New Sierra Golf, golf course is a nice 9 hole at the moment. Easy driving distance to La Torre and a couple of others as well as the beach! There are a good number of residents on NSG, so you shouldn't be lonely.

Google 'Roda Golf' or 'La Torre Golf'. Both are pleasant urbanisations. Good luck.

Hacienda de Riquelme is a great golf course and resort. Also nice large village of Sucina nearby with all amenities and a few restaurants. Would suggest you looking at platinumholidayrentals.com. Good luck.
