we are all experiencing the loss of channels, mainly HD channels at certain times of the day. Some channels I can retrieve temporarily by moving the dish slightly but at the expense of losing another channel and only to have it all change again later in the day. Settings do change with the time of year, so there are several factors to consider.

If you are getting the channels with strong signals, SKY1 and 501, then mark your dish clamp and the upright and try moving the dish slightly side to side. Usually only the thickness of a pencil line either way will make a difference. When you want to put it back you only have to realign the marks

I also have one of the old Sky boxes wired in as when the free HD channels go off ( ITV 4 for instance) I can still get them with the non HD box.

Hope this helps.

We have the same here on our Sky Plus HD but with the old box we are getting all of them so its the HD signal that is weaker.

There are supposedly some stronger LNB's out there but I don't know if they will improve things.
