Well this is the perfect response I am looking for and I thank you Marg for your comment. I guess what would really help would be to get a list of those interested in either buying or renting an assisted apartment and so, if you or anyone you know could contact me without any commitment at this stage, It would go a long way to putting this idea together. Thank you.

Hello.  Just seen your posting on Los Alcazares f/b.  You have quite a bit of positive feedback.  Go with your idea and very best of luck.  I'm sure you will have a 100% take up in time.  There  is quite an ageing population  coming along.

Regards

Margaret

Hi everyone...My name is Tony and my wife Lynn and I are considering moving to the area when we have an early retirement in a few years.Just wondered if anyone could answer a couple of questions for us please. What is the climate like especially through the winter months as we are after a mild win...

...ter if possible.Open to any area but do like the properties in Camposol but have heard negative things. Also is the crime rate low. Many thanks

Good morning Tony

We purchased a property on Camposol 18 months ago and love it!  Currently we use our villa as a holiday home but intend retiring to Spain in the next couple of years.  I agree with the other posts regarding the winter weather, it can be tee shirt and shorts at mid day and freezing at night!  The weather in Camposol is usually 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the UK, as a rough guide!  Regarding Camposol, in my opinion it is ideally located only 15 to 20 minutes from the beaches of Bolnuevo and Mazzaron.  In the summer months you get a lovely coastal breeze which helps to cool the villa when it is 38+ outside.  Bolnuevo is lovely in fact it is my favourite beach, however, according to a friend of ours who lived in Bolnuevo it can get a bit noisy in the summer months.  They have relocated to Camposol as it tends to be quieter. The community on Camposol is amazing, Lots of support, things to do and unlike other urbanisation's it has everything you need, eg, food shops, restaurants, bars, petrol station, pharmacist, electrical goods, doctors, etc, and a golf course!  Hope this helps, and good look with your search.

Thank you Alex,

We have found a couple of places in the las Alcazares area which migh prove to be suitable and will be hoping to progress further in the new year.
