Hi everyone
We are moving to el alamillo at the beginning of September. What are the social activities in the area. We have lived in spain before but not in this area. Any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. I am a 65 year old lady and really want to get involved in things in the area thanking you all.

Dear one: I don't live in EL Alamillo but I know that if you Google towns, it usually tells you "Things to do" in a particular town and place. By this, I am assuming before you made the decision to move, you already had an idea of what's going on in that particular town.
Since we all have different taste in things, which is wonderful, I suggest you Google the town to get an idea of the type of entertainments in that town. This is what I did before moving to Spain. It's actually the best and most exciting way, now days, to discover and explore the world of towns and everything else. Also try YouTube, Facebook of that town. You'll be surprised how much information there's out there to gain.

Hi,
There are a few activities around the area depends on what you like to do.
There is a Ladies Circle every Thursday at Bolnuevo which is a drive away from you.
We have various activities, trips, speakers etc.
I can send you more details if you are interested.
Also a sort walk from you is a bar that has an evening quiz on a Thursday.
A couple of bars in the area have entertainment some weekends
Have a look on some of the local Facebook pages ie. What's on in Murcia ,any FB page with Murcia or Mazarron in the title
